Comments:
No buffet
Why no lunch provided?
Improvements are needed
Not clear instruction during RM1 game, make me lost RM3
Provide more real example. Mineral water for us? Cannot meet new friend.
The workshop is nice, the game was challenging.
Time too long.
Interesting.
Add in more surprise games, "a bit" boring.
The time is too long.
Time too long, too boring
Interesting.
Quite fun and good.
Its just ok.
Good
I am not really learn any way to start a business with RM0!
Space for improvement, lack of experience in organizing events.
Nice game.
I think this seminar is very interesting, it can help me learn many things.
I hope there will be more program like this in the future.
GG! Turtle strategy works best in game.
A good workshop!!!
Period too long
Keep on.
Its too long
Good seminar but a little bit expensive.
The games are really fun, but the period of the whole workshop is too long, besides that the speaker is too dull, and not fun enough.
I like this workshop! It has thought me many effective solutions in writing and starting a business plan. The board game is also very interesting.
I had a good time in this workshop and gained knowledge on how to do the business plan and how to generate ideas.

Week 2 summary

Total new players this week: 98
This bring the grand total to 179 players in 2 weeks!

The workshop started off quite problematic, but ended just fine =)
Thank god!

More details when I am free.

Success! We recorded a total of 79 players for week 1.
Majority of the students came from Cyberpreneurship subject from FBL.

Puan Rahayu, the coordinator for Entrepreneurship from Faculty of Business and Law is teaching the subject Cyberpreneurship this semester.
She made it compulsory for all her students to play the game in their assignment groups.

This is the first time we
1. Make playing a board game part of the subject evaluation criteria

2. Use the board game as a tool to stimulate business ideas after students play the game
(Students are given a 15 minute debrief after playing the game.
Important points such as how the game reflects reality is highlighted.
On top of that, we are sharing the essence of Robert Kiyosaki's teachings in 2 of his books, "Increase Your Financial IQ" and "Cashflow Quadrant".)

3. [week 3] Introduce and implement team building element in the event.
(In the team building game mode, each team member will have to help each other to achieve their individual objective.
The team which have all team members achieve their individual objective wins)

4. [week 3] Will run the game in a massive multiplayer board game session.
(It is estimated 400-500 students from the subject will be playing the board game in teams during week 3 at CLC Concourse)

I am very happy about the feedback from the students.
It is interesting to see the change of perception among students from
"why on earth are we supposed to play"
"what is this? a stupid game?"
"how can we possibly learn anything from a game"

to

"WOW! The game is Fun"
"This game really is challenging"
"Did you guys really created this? This is amazing!"
"This IS something!"

This is what I call "ENLIGHTENMENT"!

Well, not all responded positively. The 2 groups which were the most boring was 1, the law student group, and 2, the accountant group.
I really can't get a more boring set of students.
Nothing is perfect I guess?

Phew.....

Very tiring, but happy.
The 1st week of my 3 week event is coming to an end.
So far the response for the board game was quite good.

Just that I wish I sold more tickets for my workshop and MetaMind Workshop.

WINner Story

It is the month of August, on the shores of the Black Sea . It is raining, and the little town looks totally deserted. It is tough times, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives on credit.

Suddenly, a rich tourist comes to town.

He enters the only hotel, lays a 100 Euro note on the reception counter, and goes to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one.

The hotel proprietor takes the 100 Euro note and runs to pay his debt to the butcher.

The Butcher takes the 100 Euro note, and runs to pay his debt to the pig grower.

The pig grower takes the 100 Euro note, and runs to pay his debt to the supplier of his feed and fuel.

The supplier of feed and fuel takes the 100 Euro note and runs to pay his debt to the town's prostitute that in these hard times, gave her "services" on credit.

The hooker runs to the hotel, and pays off her debt with the 100 Euro note to the hotel proprietor to pay for the rooms that she rented when she brought her clients there.

The hotel proprietor then lays the 100 Euro note back on the counter so that the rich tourist will not suspect anything.

At that moment, the rich tourist comes down after inspecting the rooms, and takes his 100 Euro note, after saying that he did not like any of the rooms, and leaves town.

No one earned anything. However, the whole town is now without debt, and looks to the future with a lot of optimism.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how the United States Government is doing business.

Many FAILs

Happy Birthday

Thank for the presents.
MMU also gave me a wonderful gift: my office aircon has been fixed! (finally, after 3 months)
Now I have 'berhijrah' back to my original office.
It feels so good, office sweet office.

Industrial trainees are quite good, so far they get the job done.
More to come after this Sunday, MMU registration day.
