Malaysias most successful board game

A true story

"MathMagic was conceptualized when the creator of the Game, Jimmy Yeoh, was playing with alphabet building blocks with his daughter, then 4 years old. From a game of adding and subtracting of blocks from pieces in play, the idea of using colors and then numbers was developed and soon became the basis of a new game - then unnamed. After some time, rules were added to the game ( mostly adapted from Scrabble) and the game concept and rules were finalized. However, it was only in 1996 that the creator decided to take the first step to entrepreneurship and launched a 'cheap' version of the game which was introduced to some Malaysian school teachers (1997)."
